Over the years we have become specialists in stain removal through training, knowledge and experience. General spots and marks are included within our standard carpet cleaning process but some stains will need special attention. This is because they can attach to fibres making them difficult to release or in some cases can be permanent and re-dye the fibre by entering the dye sites. Depending on the stain, heat, fibre type and how stain has been dealt with prior to a professional will determine the possible success.
To ensure the most successful outcome, how the stain is treated immediately after it has happened will have a huge impact on the results. Unfortunately, we can never guarantee complete removal of any stain but every effort will be made to give the best possible result. In most cases once solids have been removed the stain should be blotted to remove as much excess as possible. If you have our infamous MicroX stain spotter then use this as instructed. Leaving white kitchen paper on top after with a weight on top can help draw out the more of the stain.
We use a variety of products and processes to remove stains, from specialist’s stain removers, to steam and Ultraviolet light
We also work with the nations expert for re-dying carpets and rugs offering colour repair or colour loss, bleach spots and more. Sometimes to completely remove a stain it will remove colour from the fibre or fabric and we can replace the colour after.
Stain protection is excellent at repelling stains and should be considered if not already applied. Prevention is always better than corrective treatment.
